Hey folks!

Phew! I've had my head buried in a book pitch that I've been writing and am coming up for air. It was good timing because cartoonist Zoey Si posted this perfect comic about the stress of pitching a book.

Plus, Getting Paid to Draw is wrapping up! We've had an amazing 8-weeks of live events, drawing, and portfolio-building. I can't wait to show you some of the incredible illustration projects that students have been making.

For now, to go in a totally different direction, let's talk about PROCREATE BRUSHES!

I've said this a bunch, but I'm a huge fan of drawing on my iPad.

In fact, I recently finished a book (from sketches to final art!) using Procreate.

I've experimented with brushes for years. The built-in ones are great, but sometimes you need to branch out a bit to find the look you’re after.

There are many artists making excellent brushes for Procreate, and today, I wanted to share a few of my favorite FREE brushes.
