My Maine Sketchbook

For a little over a week, our family explored northern Maine. We were mostly based near Acadia National Park and the Blue Hill peninsula. Katrin and I both kept sketchbooks during the trip.

I primarily drew in the mornings about the events of the day before. Here's a handy list of the tools I carry when I travel: My Sketchbook Tools

These are mostly drawn in pencil in my small sketchbook.

We were so thankful to the incredible park rangers who (despite a government shutdown and everything this administration is doing to dismantle the parks) kept the park running smoothly. Thank you, National Park Service!

(psst! You can donate to them here.)

(I couldn't help it. I had to add some color to this one.)

Well, that's all for now! We had an incredible trip and are already missing the fresh, Maine air. We will return soon.

Here's a bonus sketchbook page. I was in Nashville for two nights before we went to Maine.
