One Day in Japan
Diary Comic Day is an annual event where comic artists and illustrators draw a comic every hour throughout the day. I think the idea might be to try to capture the minutiae of your day.
Something like, "8:35 am, I stepped on a Lego."
However, this year we are in Japan for a few weeks, and "Hourly Comic Day" landed on the first full day here. THIS WAS NOT ON PURPOSE. But, dang, it sure did make it easier to think of stuff to draw.
Also, I approached it slightly differently this year. Since we were moving around a lot, I made a lot of drawings and notes in my sketchbook, and then (and this is the part that sort of breaks the "rules" a little) I drew it over the next few days. So, I guess it's not really technically an "Hourly Comic Day" comic. Oh, well!
Enjoy.

Oh, wait. Here's my drawing of the snow monkeys the next day.
